We were formed in 2007 with a clear vision to provide high quality custom software developments and to thoroughly enjoy what we do. We still do both.

We are passionate about what we do. We pride ourselves in creating software that achieves our customers’ goals and forming long term relationships with our clients.

We believe that it is vitally important for the creation of these relationships that you know who you are working with. We want to work closely with you to guide you to get the most out of technology for your business.

We love our job

Our Managing Director and Lead Software Engineer is Jonathan Hall. Jonathan’s interest in Technology and Software Development spans over 20 years. Since his childhood, he completed his BSc CS degree and developed his skills further by working as a self-employed software developer, keeping on top of new developments and programming languages. His passion for creating quality software, and tinkering about, led him to form Aniom in 2007 – indeed, a great idea, formed with tons of enthusiasm.

In 2009, Rebecca Mills, Aniom’s Sales Director and Customer Services Manager came on-board. Rebecca has extensive Management and Customer Service experience forging strong links with many businesses. Rebecca leads all support and customer relations and is available to answer any queries that you have, no matter how large or small. Rebecca’s warm and friendly personality is perfect for her role here at Aniom, with her previous experience in Management and Customer Service completing her skillset.

A little about our process

To ensure that you get what you need from your project, we set out some rules (well, more like guidelines, really).

Our first step is to establish what your needs are. Depending on your location and the size of project, this consultation may take place by telephone, email or in person. This initial consultation is conducted free of charge. (It's always free to chat!)

We may ask you to provide a basic system specification and budget; this gives you the opportunity to give real thought to what you do need and helps to make sure we follow the right track.

Once we have ironed out any additional questions from both parties, we will submit our proposal to you. This proposal will feature details of what will be provided with costings and approximate timings.

You will review the proposal at this point and are encouraged to ask as many questions as you like. If any changes need to be made to the proposal, this is the stage to make them.

This is a key stage in the development process; it is vital that we ensure that we are covering all required aspects of the project for the agreed costs. This minimises the possibility of any issues arising at a later stage that had not been covered.

Once both parties are happy with the proposal, we finalise a timeline based on the estimated hours of work. Within this timeline we schedule in periods for you to try out parts of the system and to see how the project is progressing. There will be a final testing period on completion before the software goes live.

When you are happy that your new software is working as agreed on your system, both parties sign off the contract to complete. But that is not the end of our relationship!

Support

Just as we are passionate about producing quality software for your business, so we are passionate about providing outstanding customer service.

Part of the customer service we offer is ongoing support, throughout the development and beyond. Once your software is complete we provide hosting and maintenance where appropriate and full support.

We check back with you at regular intervals to ensure that your software is still working for you how you want it to.

We strive to make sure that the custom development experience is a positive and rewarding one for all involved.
